Welcome to Columbia Square

 As you may know, Cityside Fiber, a local fiber developer and internet provider, has been installing a new fiber-optic network in Irvine neighborhoods, bringing gig-speed internet service to local residents. Now, we are excited to announce that your HOA has partnered with Cityside to bring our new internet service to the residents of Columbia Square!

The construction involves cutting a 2-inch-wide trench in the street, installing fiber-optic conduit, backfilling the trench, and restoring the street as directed and authorized. There will also be associated work and equipment under/behind sidewalks, in parkways, and utility easements. After placing the new underground infrastructure, Cityside Fiber will restore any disturbed areas.

To minimize impact on the community, our contractors will post temporary “No Parking” signs during daytime hours and only within designated construction areas. Overnight parking will not be disturbed.

A team working on behalf of Cityside Fiber will be installing the network. The team will be wearing company-branded clothing, carrying a company ID badge with their name and photo, and have branded signage attached to their vehicles.

Community-wide wood repairs on both the building structures and the carports will be on-going.  Please look for posted notices on your front door or carport storage lockers when your specific areas will be worked on.

Almost all of the buildings have already been completely re-roofed, which included replacing any wood and the underlayment felt.  There are a total of 23 buildings and the plan is to re-roof 1 or 2 buildings per year until all the buildings are done.
